Chiang Rai

Saturday in Chiang Rai!  (Finally starting to feel a bit acclimated/rested!).

After a 3-hour fast curvy bus ride from Chiang Mai through beautiful hills and jungly mountains...we're in Chiang Rai!  Much cooler up here. Already a walking Saturday market is going about a block from our Nak Nakara hotel.

Charles and Sara headed to the white temple while Kristi and Will stayed behind to work (before our 4-day motorcycle loop adventure with unknown internet access).  Sara loved the White Temple, but Charles was weirded out. The photos are beautiful for sure. And lovely lighting at sunset...
